Grace has been attending this nursery since last September, the staff are amazing, friendly and extremely professional, Grace loves coming to nursery and always enjoys herself, her personal development has excelled with great communication skills and learning lots of new things. The Easter concert was a delight to watch ! The children obviously enjoyed themselves as well as the staff Ii would highly recommend this nursery it has met all my expectations and more keep up the good work girls and thank you very much.

Our daughter, Isabel, looks forward to her sessions at Nelmes and always enjoys her days in the pre-school. The fact that she enjoys the school environment is so important to us, but the staff have also paid attention to her literacy and writing skills. We are so pleased that she has developed these attributes too and feel she will be more than ready for infant school as a result. Lastly, there is a strong sense of fun at Nelmes and the Christmas and Easter shows and Sports Days have been fantastic too. Great work Nelmes. Thank you for your efforts with our daughter and all the other children in your care.

My daughter is in her second year at Nelmes Pre School and has come on leaps and bounds since joining. Since being at the school she has built some lovely friendships, learned excellent social skills, is more confident, has bonded with the staff and looks forward to her days here (runs in with a hop skip and a jump). The staff really champion the kids here, it’s not just all about playtime but lots of learning through play too. My daughter likes to surprise me with interesting things she has learned, some of which I didn’t know myself. I have seen how invested the staff are in the children. I will be confidently sending my other daughter here when she is old enough too. Thank you all for the great job that you do 🙂

Amelie thoroughly enjoys her time at pre-school, she has a sense of excitement on the days she attends which is great for us as parents. I would like to highlight how much Amelie learned during the recent Minibeast project ; she has been quizzing friends and family about Bees and Snails etc on a daily basis and sharing her knowledge!

This term Amelie has taken to learning phonics with ease and loves bringing home books to practice phonics/reading and writing. We feel she will have a real head start when starting school in September. We are overwhelmed by Amelie’s progress this Term!

We can’t thank all the Aunties enough for how much you do with the children, it has totally exceeded our expectations.

My daughter has been attending NPS for a few months now where she has settled in so well and discovered new and exciting aunties and friends. Her confidence has grown, she has a wider vocabulary and she loves all activities and new learning experiences. We are both looking forward to the new year at NPS.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys going to pre school and really loves all the activities the Aunties do with them. She is also very excited about getting homework to do like her big brothers and loves to practise writing her name and reading her book from school. x

My daughter has been at Nelmes pre-school for just over a year now and thoroughly enjoys her time here. I have noticed huge progression and development within this time. My daughter often comes home with lots of new and interesting facts she has learned. This term has been focussed on ‘mini beasts’, a favourite subject for my daughter. She loved explaining to me about the bees and how they make honey and describing what it felt like to hold a ladybird. It is amazing to see her face light up with excitement. All of the staff are wonderful and I cannot thank them enough for their care and encouragement “with and extra special thank you to Auntie Coleen for helping my daughter to grow in confidence x”
