My daughter went to Nelmes Pre-School and couldn’t recommend it enough. This comes from my experience as a mother of four, having dealt with previous pre-schools. I wish I had known about it earlier, before my other kids went to school. It’s an amazing place to send your child for their first step in academic development. The fantastic staff and communication are absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much to Cheryl and the team; we will miss you all.

My son has just finished 2 years at Nelmes pre-school, we want to thank all the wonderful aunties there as my son found it very hard to settle but with the aunties help they have really bought him out his shell he used to cry almost everyday and to see what he has become now is amazing and that is thanks to all the workers there who persist with him and always made him feel comfortable and settle him each day, he is now very confident, made lots of friends and a completely different boy. He has come on so far and learnt so much, we recieved his scrap book before leaving and its so nice to see what your children learn throughout the terms is great, they have so much going on and to hear all the stories of what they are learning is great. The Christmas, easter concerts are lovely and sports day is a fun day so much thought goes into this. A big thanks to Cheryl and her team x

My son Samraj just graduated from Nelmes pre school. We are completely inundated for all the love and support the staff and teachers have given him. As each day went by we saw his confidence grow, his skills in different areas develop and the laughter he used to come back with after summer water plays. As parents,, we will dearly miss the school and everyone that helped our little boy grow. Thank you all so much!

My son went to Nelmes pre school in 2018 and my twins started there in 2023. It’s always felt like a family environment and the staff are loving and kind. The big tell for me is my kids loved running into school. Thank you for all you have done for my children.

It was such a joy watching the Easter concert, the children had learned so many songs and performed them so happily and confidently. My son continues to love his time at preschool, he particularly loves the garden and learning about space! We met our key worker recently and she knew my son really well and was able to give us really detailed feedback on his progress in all areas. Very grateful to be part of this community and it had been such a wonderful preparation for school.

Outstanding pre-school. Our Son (age 3) started 3 months ago and settled in immediately, he has really warmed to the staff and had the confidence to make friends. He always tells us how much fun he has had and we love getting regular feedback from his keyworker on how he doing with his learning. His first term ended with the nativity show which was outstanding. All the children were very settled, happy and well behaved which is a testament to the staff and environment. Our son loved the opportunity to perform and grow his confidence. We are beyond happy with this environment and would highly recommend.

My 3 year old son was diagnosed with autism and I was advised by his paediatrician that he should join a pre school. I was extremely uncomfortable at the thought of this and I feared the worst.
However, I am so glad that I chose to send him to Nelmes Pre School. I really did have nothing to worry about. Cheryl and all of the staff are amazing with my son. I could not ask for anything more. They go above and beyond and really do care for the children. My son’s social skills have improved so much since he has been attending Nelmes and he now happily runs inside on arrival.
He very recently took part in their Easter concert and seeing my son standing on stage in front of an audience is something that I never thought I would be able to see and I have the school to thank for this. Thank you Nelmes Pre School.

We recently attended our child’s first nativity play. Both the staff and children had clearly put in a lot of work into the preparation and practice for the play. We were grateful to see the confidence our child has gained in performing in front of an audience for the show. It was nice to see the children enjoying the show, as did all the parents.

My son has just graduated from Nelmes Pre-School and he has come on leaps and bounds since starting. He is more confident and his speech has rapidly improved. Nelmes gives children the best start to their education journey and the curriculum they provide is rich and varied. All the aunties who work there are kind and caring and it made parting from my son and leaving him in their care very easy. I highly recommend this preschool and will be sending my younger daughter there in the future.

Our daughter will soon finish at Nelmes pre-school to start school in September, and I cannot thank all of the Aunties enough for everything they have done. The staff are attentive and kind and always making sure that my daughter is settled and comfortable in setting. She has learnt so much at school and made lots of lovely friends. The scrapbooks that the children receive at the end of their time at Nelmes are a lovely keepsake and bring a smile to your face reading everything they have been learning about. The effort that is put into the Easter concert, Nativity Play, Sports Day etc is greatly appreciated and it is lovely to see my daughter performing in these! I would definitely recommend Nelmes and will be sending our second daughter there in September!
